About the Company
Nordik Distribution in Lycksele is a Swedish distributor that stands on three legs and has a clear ambition to develop all of them. They consist of sales of hunting and shooting products, outdoor products, and lighting for vehicles. Our focus is primarily on the domestic market and only towards retailers. We have a wide range of products that we are constantly developing, both with new agencies and our own brands. Most of the products are sourced from suppliers outside Sweden and the EU.
We currently have nine employees, six of whom are based in Lycksele where we also have our warehouse and customer service.
About the Role
You will be at the center of our operations with a focus on our overall performance. You will be responsible for ensuring that administration, coordination, and information flows function effectively. You will also be responsible for liaising with our external accounting firm.
Main Responsibilities
- Orders and inventory. Daily checks of order queues, discrepancies, backorders, etc.
- Transport. Procure freight and serve as the contact point for freight companies.
- Suppliers. Follow up on flows, agreed lead times, complaints.
- Quality. Register damages, incorrect picks, improve routines. Handle incidents.
- Customer communication. Clear and prompt information regarding discrepancies and changes.
- Planning and coordination. Create weekly plans for staff, inventory, transport, and meetings.
We are few, which means that tasks can be added and can be very varied. You should not be afraid to step in where needed, but your mission will be to ensure that the business operates as it should. When the flow is present, we have plenty of customers who need service and websites that need to be kept alive.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who can create an overview of our operations in a down-to-earth and unpretentious way. You can simplify and quality-assure our routines and workflows. You are communicative, analytical, structured, not afraid to delegate, and enjoy working in a team. You are meticulous (without being picky), proactive, can prioritize, and understand context. You have experience working as an administrator, coordinator, or in a leadership position. You express yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and have good knowledge of Office365 and experience working in a business system.
